Welcome back fam! ๐Ÿ’œ Weโ€™re introducing new analytics, Spotify Discovery Mode updates, a new episode of Too Lost Conversations, and more.

New Analytics Sources ๐ŸŽŠ

Weโ€™re excited to share that weโ€™ve added several new analytics sources to the Analytics Portal: KKBOX, Mixcloud, JioSaavn, QQ Music, and WeSing. For each of these new sources, you can now access your total streams per track, insights into your audience, and more!

Spotify Discovery Mode Update ๐Ÿš€

Weโ€™ve improved our Spotify Discovery Mode metrics section, displaying stats such as playlists added, song saves, listener intent, stream uplift percentage, and more from Spotify Discovery Mode. This should better assist you in deciding whether to add your songs to Discovery Mode or not.

Cover Song Licensing โœ…

Did you know Too Lost clients can clear any cover song directly in their Too Lost account?

Cover songs are a valuable method for independent artists to showcase their creativity, support their favorite artists, and get discovered by new listeners who want to enjoy a familiar song. Thatโ€™s why our cover song licensing process is so important and seamless: Select โ€œCover Song Licensingโ€ in your dashboard to submit a license request, and a PDF clearance waiver will be made available in 1-2 business days.

This is your sign to release your favorite cover song! ๐Ÿ’ก

Artist of theย Week: Madison Hughes

Meet Madison Hughes, the 27-year-old country artist based in Nashville. Over the past few years, Madison has experienced significant growth, particularly with her viral acoustic cover songs.

Inspired by โ€˜70s folk-rock and modern alternative country, she brings a sultry, smoky sound to tracks by artists such as Bob Dylan, Lord Huron and Morgan Wallen, among others.

Madison joins Too Lost Marketing Manager Brandon Williams to unpack the story behind her emotional new single, โ€œBattles,โ€ the grind of touring as an independent artist, and how she approaches cover songs.
