We’re proud to announce that The All-American Rejects have partnered with Too Lost for the global distribution of Sandbox, their first studio album in over a decade, marking a major shift in their career as they step into full independence. The album is set for release in February 2026 and will be distributed globally via a direct deal with Too Lost.

This new chapter sees the platinum-selling band taking full control of their music for the first time since their early 2000s breakthrough. Working independently and outside the traditional label system, The All-American Rejects have partnered with Acumen Music and Too Lost to handle global digital distribution, rights management, and royalty administration—retaining ownership and creative autonomy while expanding their international reach.

Sandbox is the band’s first full-length project since 2012’s Kids in the Street, and its rollout underscores a growing trend of legacy artists moving away from conventional record label structures. The title track and lead single, released April 24, was described by frontman Tyson Ritter as “war through the lens of a child—exploding cereal, jump rope trip wires, water balloon grenades, pigtails—crosshairs.”

The new material showcases a matured sonic direction while keeping the band’s signature pop-rock energy intact. Follow-up singles “Easy Come, Easy Go” and “Search Party!” were premiered on a grassroots tour earlier this year that leaned heavily on intimate fan experiences—part of a larger ethos the band is pushing.

“It’s about closing the gap in economic disparity,” said Ritter, speaking about the band’s new approach. “Big-ticket machines that are literally breaking anti-trust laws are gatekeeping the entire ecosystem. We’re building a platform where artists can access their audience directly—in backyards, at eye level.”

At Too Lost, we’re committed to providing a technology-forward distribution and publishing solution tailored to independent artists, labels, and managers. With a focus on transparency, direct control, and global access, we’re proud to partner with artists like The All-American Rejects who are redefining what independence looks like at every level.

For The All-American Rejects, this partnership signals more than just a return—it’s a statement about where the industry is headed. Their move echoes a broader decentralization trend as veteran acts increasingly embrace direct-to-fan models and tech-driven platforms that prioritize independence.
