Based in Quezon City, Philippines, independent Filipino R&B and soul artist Maiorca (Rian Maiorca) is carving out his own space with a sound that is smooth, atmospheric, and deeply emotional. As a singer-songwriter and producer, Maiorca takes a hands-on approach to his music, writing, recording, and producing his own songs while often collaborating with family members, including his sister Regine, to bring his creative vision to life.

Inspired by artists like Frank Ocean, Daniel Caesar, Dijon, and Giveon, Maiorca blends intimate songwriting with rich R&B production to create music that feels both atmospheric and emotionally honest. His growing catalog includes tracks like “For You”, “Breathe”, and “River Flow”, while his 2025 single “Ouroborus,” marked a major milestone, earning him his first million streams on independent platforms.

Maiorca continued that momentum in 2026 with “Athena,” a breakout track that quickly caught fire across social media. The song generated more than 90,000 pieces of user-generated content on TikTok and nearly 1 million streams on Spotify, helping Maiorca build an increasingly dedicated audience across platforms. Today, he has more than 140,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, alongside a growing following on TikTok and Instagram.

Now, Maiorca is entering his next chapter with “Falling Back,” a deeply meditative new release that expands on the R&B sound that has become his signature. Made for late nights that blur into early mornings, the track captures Maiorca’s ability to turn introspective moments into atmospheric, emotionally resonant music. With his momentum continuing to build, “Falling Back” offers another glimpse into the world Maiorca is creating and the artist he is becoming.
