New Zealand artist lilbubblegum has built a world of his own through playful humor, internet culture, and an ever-evolving sound. After first uploading music to SoundCloud at 15, he quickly found a community within the online aesthetic rap scene. His 2019 breakout track “AF1” went on to reach millions of streams, laying the foundation for a career that has grown far beyond his early SoundCloud roots.

Since then, lilbubblegun has expanded his sound from the dreamy, reverb-heavy style of his 2021 debut EP bubbleworld into something harder, louder, and increasingly unpredictable. His evolution has let him explore different sides of his artistry while staying connected to the fans who have been there from the start. 

Beyond his own releases, lilbubblegum has continued to make an impact across music and entertainment. His track “SCRAPS ON” was recently featured in Amazon’s hit TV show Sterling Point, and he has also produced and performed at AKL Lifestyle, a New Zealand music festival featuring artists including Lucy Bedroque.

Coming off the success of “Brown Sugar” and “evil again,” lilbubblegum is doubling down on his playful, quippy humor with his latest single, “Casamigos.” Inspired by artists like Rick James and Sabrina Carpenter, the track embraces his larger-than-life persona while showcasing the unpredictable energy that has become central to his sound.
