From Chicago’s house music roots to Los Angeles's dance floors, J. Worra has built a sound that blends classic house with new-school tech. The DJ and producer, born Jamie Sitter, has become a standout in the underground dance scene through her creative production, technical skill behind the decks, and unmistakable energy. 

A Chicago native now based in Los Angeles, J. Worra carries the influence of her hometown into a style that feels both rooted in house music tradition and distinctly her own. That approach has earned her recognition across the electronic music world, including being named DJ Mag’s 2019 Breakthrough Music Producer of the Year. 

Since then, J. Worra has released music through labels including Higher Ground, Realm Records, Club Sweat, Sink or Swim, and Never Worry Records. She has also put her spin on tracks from artists like GRiZ, Gryffun, Gorgon City, Kaskade, deadmau5, and SIDEPIECE, further establishing herself as a versatile producer within the dance music space. 

Behind the decks, J. Worra brings that same high-energy approach to stages around the country. Her performances have taken her to major festivals including EDC Las Vegas, Coachella, and Splash House, and to clubs like The Brooklyn Mirage, Spybar Chicago, and Sound LA. Beyond music, her creative world extends into fashion and art, while she has also used her platform to support LGBTQ Youth, local charities, and animal rescue. 

Her latest single, “Who Told You To Stop?” puts the dance floor front and center. The high-energy tech house track pairs an infectious groove with quirky production details and unexpected ear candy, including a cat meow tucked into the mix.
