After posting vocal covers on YouTube, DaniLeigh moved to Los Angeles, where she worked as a backup dancer and choreographer for artists like Pharrell Williams and Nelly Furtado. Her breakthrough came after collaborating with Prince on the music video for “Breakfast Can Wait,” a moment that helped launch her recording career and led to her signing with Def Jam Recordings in 2017.
