Artist Spotlight

Growing up in LA, Annika Rose was already playing in bands by the age of 10. Born into a musical family, her career started early: at 10 she was covering Led Zeppelin, by 13 she had signed to be part of a girl band, and by 15 she was dropped from her major label, choosing to continue on independently.

Her early career may have been a rollercoaster of contracts and industry ups and downs, but Annika came out of it with lessons that shaped her voice and her distinct pop-rock style. Influenced by Paramore, Matty Healy of The 1975, and Alanis Morissette, she describes her songs as “journal entries put to melody,” written best in solitude.

Now with over 70k Spotify followers, 500k across social media, collaborations with G-Eazy, and songs surpassing 8 million streams, Annika has proven that staying true to her voice pays off. At only 23, she’s already been named one of the new voices to watch, and she’s only getting started.

Her newest single, I’M GOOD. I’M GREAT. , is the final track added from the era that shaped her latest EP, BROADWAY & BOND EP. Written in NYC after a whirlwind romance, Annika calls it “the lie I told myself through gritted teeth to stay alive.”
